How to yawn

Yawning is a reflex that helps to regulate the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in your body. It’s a natural and involuntary action, but you can encourage yourself to yawn by following these steps:

Relax your jaw

Open your mouth wide, and stretch your jaw muscles as far as you can.

Take a deep breath

Inhale deeply through your mouth, filling your lungs with air.

Hold your breath briefly

Hold your breath for a few seconds, then exhale slowly through your mouth.

Repeat

Repeat the deep breathing and breath holding a few times, and you may find that you start to yawn naturally.

It’s important to note that trying to force yourself to yawn may not be effective, and yawning is a natural response to a variety of stimuli, such as fatigue or boredom. So if you’re having trouble yawning, it’s best to simply relax and let it happen naturally when your body is ready.
